Sara Neuzil is making her dream of being a full-time professional artist come true at Blepta Studios where she uses wax and dye to transform eggshells into intricate works of art. Sara grew up on a farm near Spillville and lived in several places across the United States and around the globe. In 2015 she moved “back home” to start PIVO Brewery and Blepta Studios. Blepta is Czech for chatterbox, and it was a nickname Sara’s grandfather gave her when she was little. This is Sara’s third year with the Studio Tour. She would be happy to chat on the main level in the retail shop, and you can do a self-guided tour the studio workspace upstairs.
